Generac standby generators, every day

We specialize in Generac home standby generators. That focus means we know the controllers, the common no-start causes and the maintenance items on these units well, and the van carries the parts that fail most often. Lincoln Generators Co. is an independent company; we are not affiliated with or endorsed by Generac Power Systems, Inc.

Why Lincoln needs them

Lincoln Electric System keeps the lights on most of the year. The weather is the exception. On July 31, 2024, LES reported more than 30,000 customers out at the peak of a summer storm. Winter brings ice storms and blizzards and, by NOAA's 1991–2020 normals, about 10 nights a year below zero. A standby generator turns those nights into an inconvenience instead of an emergency.

How we work

  • You get the diagnosis or the quote, and the price, before any work starts.
  • New installs start with a site visit and a written quote.
  • We test every install and repair with a simulated outage before we leave.
  • Every service visit ends with a short written note of what we did.
  • The same small crew installs, repairs and maintains, so they know your system.
  • We clean up, and old parts leave with us.

What we like doing

Our favorite job is the follow-up after a storm: a homeowner who calls to say the generator started on its own, the furnace kept running and they slept through it. That's the whole point.
